I will be participating in an art exhibition in the quaint town of Clifton, Virginia, along with two masterful oil painters, Vicki Vidal Blum and Debra Keirce, each of whom will be displaying some of their best recent work. The art show will be held at The Wine Attic, an upscale, independent wine shop in the heart of downtown Clifton. Details are below:

I will be sharing a series of original oil paintings I created this year under the theme “In Vino Veritas” (“In Wine, Truth”). I was fascinated by the metaphor of wine as the distillation of experience, the truth that emerges in our consciousness from circumstances both crushing and uplifting. Each piece of artwork in this series was inspired, in whole or in part, by the light of truth, deeper understanding, the complexities of identity and betrayal, as well as patriotism, aspiration, and mystery. Given the incessant news cycles and current savage political landscape, as well as the traumas and delights of personal experience, I found it very satisfying and cathartic to explore the concept of truth in this manner.
Thank you, and I hope to see you there!
